The Autism Residential Task Force (ARTF) 

What is the Autism Residential Task Force (ARTF)?

A group of compassionate citizens, parents, and professionals who share a common interest, coming together for scheduled meetings for the purpose of the well-being of the autism community.

What is the mission of the ARTF? 

To collaborate to create a strategic plan by brainstorming ideas, opinions, and perspectives toward achieving the common goal of developing successful programs in the best interest of the autism population to be served. 

The goal of the autism research and development school? 
 To increase the employment rate of individuals living with autism by producing graduates who are prepared to transition into the community with confidence, and equipped for competitive employment opportunities to become productive members of society.


Are ARTF Members, Advisory Committee Members, and Board Members?
No.
 
ARTF Members function to assist in developing the foundation of the project based on the needs of the autism community. The groups will often be divided to form multiple smaller task forces that work on different projects toward the same overall goal.  

Advisory committee members may contribute to generalized polls that are highly considered in the decision-making process, however, these members do not have official voting privileges. 

 
Advisory Committee Members are a group of experts in a variety of areas who voluntarily lend their expertise, knowledge, and skills, offering advice and services that will assist in the organization's growth and development and in achieving its goals. Advisory board members do not have official voting privileges.

Board Members consist of a small group of individuals who are hand-selected to serve on the board of directors. These individuals oversee the organization's operation. 


Do ARTF members get paid?
No.  ARTF members volunteer their time to the cause.


What is the maximum number of ARTF members?

​There is no limit At this time there is no limit set. There is no limit to the number of advisory committee members


What is my obligation as an ARTF member?
TARTF membership is a strictly voluntary position where members commit their time and efforts for its members to contribute their time toward developing and implementing an action plan for the well-being of the autism community. 


Are there fees involved?
There are no associated membership fees.
